Blackstone M+

Built-in 1924, the Blackstone Apartment was one of the most expensive apartments in Shanghai. Later on, it was turned into the staff dormitory of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. With the trend of urban renewal, Blackstone M+, a Cultural and Creative Park with the theme of music, has emerged around Blackstone Apartments. The project is to award residents, tourists, and musicians to stitch together in limited space. The Music Wall, the Tree Shadow Garden, and the Zelkova Plaza are all designed as landscape nodes. Restrained and effective interventions are used to create an event venue. The minimized intervention has also enabled this community to revive in Shanghai with a more unique look.
