Luxel Steps

As the starting point of the canoe channel, the site of Lujie faces extremely complicated public space conditions. Through accurate height difference digestion, we can make the canoe down the slope without affecting the passage of people. Different greening strategies also effectively defined two distinct communities, residential areas, and yacht clubs. The winding ramps and greenery maximize the dialogue in the limited space. In Lujie’s project, the landscape is not only an infrastructure to solve problems, but also a public place to create events.
